Two of the very best

Two of the very best summers of my life, are the two I spent here on Camp Oljato staff.

I must say I am

I must say I am a bit jealous (well more than a bit) of Brian, Spooky, and Daniel getting to be on staff!

Brian, Spooky, and Daniel have

Brian, Spooky, and Daniel have been asked to join the Camp Oljato staff, and will work the next session as staff members.

As we head home tomorrow,

As we head home tomorrow, we will leave three of our own behind: Brian, Spooky, and Daniel.

I am really proud of

I am really proud of these Scouts. They did themselves proud. Spooky did a spectacular job as our SPL.

We presented Sanford Rags to Manu, Will, TJ, Arden, and Tidwell on the staff today. They were are staff hosts, and the camp chaplain.

Spooky did a fantastic job as emcee tonight, and 413 had the best skits and songs. The scouts really made me proud.

Today is also the Scoutmaster BBQ, and we have latrine duty at Central Latrine. Domino and I report for food prep duty at 2:30pm.

All of our survirors rejoin us as we prepare to head to morning assembly. Not much sleep, and our coldest night yet, but they did it, and I think they are all a little proud that they now know they can survive a night in the wilderness with nothing more than the clothes on their back, and their skills.

Griffin is back from the Wilderness Survival overnighter. He brought his dirty legs. (He was not feeling great, so they had him come back to camp on a boat.)
